Dean of Students Office

The Dean on Duty is available to handle requests for assistance on a walk-in basis, by email, or by telephone.

Community Rights & Responisibilities

Community Rights & Responsibilities is responsible for the student disciplinary system at ISU, and provides conflict resolution and mediation services to students in need.

Off-Campus Student Services

Off-Campus Student Services provide services to students living off-campus, and offer assistance when students encounter difficulties with roommates and/or property managers. If you are an ISU student seeking off-campus housing, please check out the Off Campus Housing Database.

Students' Attorney

Students' Attorney offers legal advice to ISU student on a wide variety of issues, including housing and leasing concerns, criminal and traffic law, family law, business matters and more. The Attorney provides in-office advice but does not offer representation in court, nor can the Attorney offer legal advice in matters involving student to student disputes or student disputes with the University.

Student Counseling Services provides individual and group therapy, career planning, outreach activities and workshiops, and sexual assault prevention and survivor services.

University Housing Services

For any housing questions, please contact University Housing Services directly. Please note that ISU requires all freshmen and sophomores to live on campus.

University Police Department

105 Nelson Smith Building, (309) 438-8631

The University Police Department provides professional law enforcement services to the campus community. The Students on Patrol (STOP) program is administered by the ISU Police and provides late night escorts to students, faculty, and staff crossing campus.
