Ex-Officio Organizations

Ex-Officio organizations represent those student populations designated by federal Affirmative Action Information Classifications with race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disabled, disabled veteran, or Vietnam-era veteran classifications.  These representatives are non-voting members of the Assembly. Their participation in Assembly meetings provide extra voices and perspectives at the table during the policy-making process.

Association of Residence Halls

The Association of Residence Halls (ARH) serves as the voice of the students living in the residence halls at Illinois State University. ARH serves as the umbrella organization for Area Governments and Diversity Coalitions. These organizations are represented in all four areas of campus and affect the daily life of residence on a daily basis. Through ARH’s involvement in the planning process of Move-In at ISU, ARH looks to be the first RSO that impacts a student’s life in a positive manner at ISU.
